Minimalism in a Personal Way

Clients are living in Paris, they would like to refresh their Singapore apartment for occasionally vacation. Given the requirement of the interior, we worked towards a direction of calm, tranquil, whilst oriental deeply inside.

Setting the Ambience

Full height timber trellis emphasizing the high volume of the ceiling, their subtle oriental form compliments yet soften the base tone that otherwise set by the contemporary italian furniture. And provide privacy at the meantime for this over exposed area.

Area rugs were introduced to add the warmth. Solid color silk yarn, will offer even elegant shine over the time of usage. Accent cushions are carefully selected to echo the softness of the rugs.

Interaction

Thanks to the welcoming setting, breakfast or tea break are available at this new bistro corner at the patio deck. Living space is also extended to become a mixture of indoor and semi-outdoor

Layers of textures in pure white tone

White in different texture, material dominate the bedroom.

White veneer, linen, leather, quilted silk, different layers of white textures interacted with each other, creating subtle contrast against the dark panels.

Adding Glamourous

Bold elements were injected to break the silence. Rouge oriental high gloss lacquered panel pair with oxidised brass trimming, effortlessly adding glamorous to the majestic and minimalism settings
